Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz, born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from her hometown. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father came from the Jewish family Ryder considers herself Jewish. She has two younger half-siblings, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents moved out of Mendocino, California, in the year she turned seven old. They was in a house that didn't have electric power.
